Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place your peeled bananas in a large mixing bowl and mash them together. Add the honey and melted butter, and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour and baking soda, then mix thoroughly into the banana, butter, and honey mixture.
Add your walnuts, chocolate chips, or other additive - about a quarter cup for most, or to taste.
Spray your loaf pan with non-stick spray and bake for one hour, testing to be sure a toothpick stuck in the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
