On October 5th, I joined Misteka at The Common Kitchen to celebrate their grand opening! The Common Kitchen is a bright, beautiful, and brand new food hall located in Clarksville, Maryland. Iman, the owner of Misteka, has been working so hard with her family and employees and I’m really excited for her to be officially open for business! Not only is her food amazing, but as I’ve mentioned in a previous post, she seeks to better the local community through her #donteatalone meal donation campaign as well. I’m very excited that I was able to photograph Iman’s celebration with friends and family!
The beautifully detailed logo cookies were crafted by Kupcakes & Co – they taste as wonderful as they look!
The Common Kitchen features several vendors so there are options for everyone when it comes to taking the family out to dinner! Try Misteka’s koshary bowls (or the falafel salad – also highly recommended), Indian food from Namaste Foodie (photos coming soon!), or treat yourself to gourmet grilled cheeses, coffee, smoothies, and top off the visit with unique ice cream options for dessert (try the basil ice cream, you won’t be disappointed!).
