As soon as the snowflakes start to fall, my son asks for hot chocolate. 🙂 It is perfect for the weather and very nostalgic for me – my grandmother would make huge jars of hot chocolate mix when I was little. It was the best warm treat to have after playing in the snow!

The Best Hot Chocolate Mix
Ingredients
- 3 cups powdered milk
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips pulsed in a food processor until very finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon cornstartch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- mini marshmallows optional, but why wouldn't you?! 🙂
Instructions
- Measure ingredients into a large mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly. For an extra smooth mix, sift all ingredients except for the chocolate chips; whisk in the chocolate chips after. Use approximately 2 generous tablespoons of mix per mug of hot water, stirring well. Store in a sealed container.
